In order to race in class-sanctioned events you must be a member of the AMYA and have registered your boat with the Class Association before the event. The registration number you will receive is a unique number which is to be displayed on the sail. You will also receive a numbered hull marker to be placed inside the boat.  There is a one-time cost of $7.50 (US) to register or transfer each boat. If you are not yet an AMYA member please visit the AMYA website, the AMYA getting started page and find out how to join. You must have an AMYA membership number before you can submit a registration request for your Soling One Meter.  Once you have an AMYA membership number, you can register on-line using the link provided below and pay via PayPal (using a debit card, credit card or PayPal account).

This is a two step process. Payment, followed by 'special requests'.  You must complete both in order to ensure that payment is received and your registration is verified with the AMYA.   IF you miss either step, your registration will be delayed.  You can register your boat and have a hull/sail number assigend by the AMYA Membership secretary, Michelle Dannenhoffer, without completing the online registration process. 

STEP 1.   Once you click on the [Pay Now] button, you will directed PayPal (a third party provider of secure online payment) to collect the $7.50 registration / transfer fee using a debit card, credit card, or PayPal account. Please indicate if this is a new registration or a transfer of ownership.  In the 'Special Instructions' section of the form, please provide:  AMYA membership number , and for new registrations, indicate ‘next available’ or request last 2 or 3 specific digits; for transfers, please identify the previous owner and the boat's hull/sail no. Paypal will return you to this page (once you have made your payment).

STEP 2.   Complete Registration Form on this page, and then press submit.  This will provide both the Class Secretary and AMYA Membership Secretary notification that you are requesting a boat registration / transfer.

Please allow one to three weeks. Registrations are processed in batches every two to three weeks.  Online registration does not allow real time hull/sail number assignment - please be patient.
